Regional events in Bengkayang Regency

Guys, this article is the last story that I’d like to share for you are. It is like a conclusion of the Bengkayang uniqueness from my explanation. As the last section, let me share briefly about the regional event in my regency.

a.       Gidot Cup

Gidot Cup is an award for the football championship where all of football teams from Bengkayang regency match each other to win this award. This event is held every once a year as a chain to celebrate Bengkayang Regency anniversary. Every year, the match to fighting over this award has been hypnotized the people to watch the match and also participate in this match.

b.      Bengkayang exhibition

This event is also held every once a year. This expo is followed by every institute that has in Bengkayang regency and every sub districts sent their representative to introduce and promote their region. Beside that, the purposes of this expo are to make the closeness and unity of the relationship between each sub districts.

c.       Gawai Dayak

Gawai dayak is famous event that always celebrated Dayaknese in Bengkayang Regency. Gawai Dayak is held on april 27^th every year that is exactly at same date and same day with the birthday of Bengkayang regency. So, on that date, the celebration of Bengkayang anniversary and Gawai dayak are same. This is make the something different from our regency where the nationality and the traditional come together to make the unity.
