People Occupation in Kapuas Hulu Regency

Knowing new culture is good for our knowledge. It is right guys??

For this opportunity, I will give you some information about cultur of people’s Kapuas Hulu Regency especially about the strength occupation. Some people of the regency have strength job and its occupation is mining gold. Territory of Kapuas Hulu that appropriate for miner of gold is Nanga Boyan. Nanga Boyan is appropriate for miner gold because that territory has gold in the river. Many people of another territory of Kapuas Hulu came to Nanga Boyan to be miner, people from another area believed that its occupation will be made them became rich men. Sometimes if they are having the lucky day they will get about 50 million rupiah a week. Golden that they have found in the river sold to people from Putussibau or fancy store. Therefore its occupation has given them much of many but to me that occupation is little strength.


It became strength job caused of some reasons. First, that occupation need some people for diving under the water. It much more strength because there is someone who is diving got the golden did not appear to surface of the water, because they could not be taking breath under the water.  Second, that job need dare-devil person. As we know that there are many predators in the river such as crocodiles, snakes, lizard and etc. So people are diving under the water met those predators and from that, I though that it is strength occupation from people’s Kapuas Hulu region.
